On Tuesday, March 10, Miranda Hawker, Health Officer, Florida Department of Health in Indian River County, will be making a presentation to the Board of County Commissioners on the Coronavirus. All members of the public are invited to attend.
It can also be watched live on TV (Comcast Channel 27) starting at 9 a.m. This presentation will be shortly after the meeting starts. It can also be live-streamed from Indian River County’s website by clicking here and going to live video. Indian River County Emergency Services Status Page is available here. This will be updated as things change, if schools close, etc. Updates from the IRC Emergency Operations Center (EOC) can be found here on Facebook. Sign up for text messages or email alerts from the EOC here. It is very important in this time to make sure you are keeping up to date on the latest local news related to the potential emergency. National or international news will not impact you as much as what is going on in our own neck of the woods.
